Give Thanks Daily

As the little one gets older, more traditions are being set, particularly around the holidays.  A new Thanksgiving tradition this year is our Thankful Garland.  Thank you to the Craft Jr website, I found some nice fall leaf templates to give our garland some variety.  Cut out with various construction paper and it’s quite colorful, too.  The cutting portion was a family affair.  Please allow me to digress here a bit.  There’s something great about the entire family sitting around the table working on a project together.  Even with just the three of us, it doesn’t happen very often, but oh, how I do enjoy it.  I think this mama will find more projects and board games to allow for these moments a little more in our lives.

Being thankful ever day is a GOOD THING and passing it on to our children teaches them that we are BLESSED! I like you leaf display. Sitting down as a family is a hard thing to do these days but so important.
