The Difference a Year Makes

After going through and editing photos from our recent trip to California (which can be viewed here), I discovered some great ‘then and now’ gems from our trip the same time last year.

It’s hard to believe, let alone remember, that D was just starting to walk during our last visit.  Papa put some good miles (and track marks) on the carpet.  Now, she’s happy to walk right along side, holding hands only when crossing roadways…

Riding the carousel never gets old.  In fact, this year that 3-minute ride could have been a little longer…

While a water cup used to be fun to squeeze and throw, it now holds her very own Starbucks apple juice…

And playing in the sand is actually fun now – once we embrace its stickiness…

Adorable! I love the before and after. She has growing up to fast.

  2. I can’t believe how big she’s getting! That photo of her striding along next to her Papa is too cute for words. You’re a lucky mama!

Traci and Tyson – what an absolutely wonderful collection of pictures. Delancy will cherish them when she’s older, as you and the grandparents do now. She is such a darling girl and takes after both of you. Thank you for sharing.
    Love, Aunt Carole

    • Thank you Aunt Carole! I think she’s a good combo of the two of us as well – although she could use a little less of her mama’s obsession with cleanliness and order. 🙂
