First Swim Class…and First Video Editing Project

Here’s a video of D’s first swim class at the YMCA…and my first editing project.  I originally edited this video in iMovie using the original “Singin’ in the Rain” by Gene Kelly, but the copywrite on it won’t allow me to use it on YouTube (bummer).  I found a second option through YouTube’s approved music library that works “well enough” although it’s a little shorter than the video and doesn’t fit quite as well with the edits.

The challenges with converting iMovie to any usable, non-Mac format (i.e. mp3) are endless, at least without paying money for conversion software, so I’m making do with what I have.  If you ever visit, I’ll show you the real video.  Until then, enjoy D’s splish-splashes!

  1. Wow, what a little fish! She seems to love the water. Great job with the video, I’m totally impressed — I’ve never been able to manage to figure how to use video editing software. 🙂

    • Thanks Mandi! I use iMovie, which has been pretty user friendly so far, even for people like me. 🙂

You can tell Kirsten and Dave that they inspired me with all their cute videos. 🙂
